01Nothing is spent before you say yes
Every campaign is built paused. It starts only after you approve the plan, and only if it has an ad, a place to show in and a daily cap. Until then it costs nothing.
02A daily cap, and a watchdog with no AI in it
You set what a day may cost. With no cap set nothing can start, and nothing can be switched on while today's spend is at the cap. A watchdog reads the spending figures every five minutes, warns at 90% of the cap and, if a day runs well past it, pauses every campaign by itself. It is plain arithmetic, so there is nothing in it to talk round.
One honest detail: Google may spend up to twice a campaign's daily budget on a busy day and less on a quiet one, evening it out over the month. That is Google's rule for every advertiser, and the cap counts it.
03One switch stops everything
The stop switch in your dashboard pauses every campaign we run for you, on every platform, and stops the agent from changing anything until you switch it back. Switching back restarts nothing on its own: you choose what runs again.
04You choose how much it decides alone
- Runs it: the agent makes the day-to-day changes and tells you what it did.
- Asks about money: it still blocks bad searches and cuts dear bids, but asks before it raises a bid or changes the plan or a budget.
- Only suggests: it writes down what it would do, and nothing is changed.
Whatever you choose, it never raises your total budget by itself. It can move money between your own campaigns; spending more is always a question for you.
05Small steps, never a sweeping change
In one day, for one campaign, the agent may at most:
- block 10 searches,
- pause 5 keywords, and never leave fewer than 5 running,
- move 5 keyword bids, each by no more than a third, and only when the bid is more than 15% away from what the auction asks.
A search is blocked for not bringing customers only when the numbers prove it: at your campaign's own rate, that many clicks without an enquiry would be bad luck less than 5% of the time. Searches that are plainly something else, a job hunt or a homework question, are blocked by what they say. And nothing may block one of your own keywords.
06Your changes win
If you or anyone on your side changes something in the account, the agent leaves that setting alone for 30 days. A keyword you switch back on is never paused again, and a blocked search you remove is never blocked again. You know things about your business that no number shows.
07Every change is written down first
Before any change is sent to Google it is recorded with the reason for it. The History tab of each campaign shows every change, who made it, the agent or a person, and why, in plain words.
08Search only, no junk placements
We build Google search campaigns on Google Search alone: no Display Network and no search partners, the two places a new search campaign is opted into by default and where small budgets disappear fastest. On Facebook and Instagram, the Audience Network of other apps is left out.
09We watch Google too
Google can apply its own recommendations to your account automatically, such as broad match keywords or a bigger budget, if that setting is on. We check that setting every day in every account we run, and a person on our team is told the same day if it is on.
10The account stays yours
We work in your Google Ads account through Google's own manager link, which only you can accept, and which you can remove at any time in Google Ads under Admin, Access and security, Managers. Our sign-in to Google is kept encrypted. What we keep about the people who answer your ads is set out in the privacy policy.
Questions about any of this: hello@adducta.com. A person answers.
